Bio

 

Lisa Ann Robertson is a doctoral candidate in English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta. She is currently finishing her dissertation, entitled "The Embodied Imagination: British Romantic Cognitive Science." Her project examines the influence of cognitive science on poetic theory, pedagogy, and attitudes towards the body. Her research interests include cognitive historicism, twenty-first-century neuroscience, and British Romanticism.
